Here are three magical DIY recipes to help you thrive this winter: a healing herbal tea, a moon-spiced almond milk elixir, and a decadent mocha cacao latte. Each is a ritual of self-love.

1. Herbal Winter Wellness Tea

Comfort | Immunity | Inner Calm

This soothing infusion uses herbs easily found in South Africa. It's designed to ease winter woes like congestion, fatigue, and seasonal blues.

Ingredients:

1 tsp Rooibos (rich in antioxidants, caffeine-free)

1 tsp Peppermint (clears sinuses, calms digestion)

½ tsp Lemon Balm (anti-viral, gentle relaxant)

½ tsp Elderflower (supports immune system)

1 tsp raw Honey 

Slice of lemon or ginger

Instructions:

  1. Add herbs to a tea infuser or teapot.
  2. Pour over 1 cup boiling water.
  3. Steep for 5 to 7 minutes.
  4. Add honey and lemon / ginger.

Ingredients:

1 Cup unsweetened Almond milk

1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Ground Cardamom

1/8 tsp Ground Ginger

Pinch of Cloves and Nutmeg

1/2 tsp Ashwagandha powder (optional)

1 tsp Honey or Maple Syrup

Dash of Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

  1. Heat Almond milk gently, do not boil.
  2. Stir in spices and adaptogen (if using).
  3. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes while whisking softly.
  4. Sweeten and sip slowly.

3. Sacred Mocha Cacao Latte

1/2 Cup brewed strong Coffee

1/2 Cup unsweetened Almond milk

1 TBS raw Cacao powder

1 TBS chopped Dark Chocolate 

1/2 tsp Cinnamon

Pinch of Cayenne Pepper 

1 tsp raw Honey

Dash of Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

  1. Heat Almond milk with Cacao, Chocolate and Cayenne (over low heat).
  2. Stir until smooth and melted.
  3. Add hot Coffee and whisk well.
  4. Top with Cinnamon
